We provide fully integrated, custom designed STERNGEAR PACKAGES containing the components of the entire shaftline from gear box to propeller cone. The entire shaft line is designed, manufactured and then assembled in our factory to be inspected and stamped before being carefully packed with assembly instructions and shipped. If the clients prefer to order individual components, then we can offer these also.
For new constructions, our naval architects and engineers liaise with the customer's technical staff during the design stage to ensure that the optimum solution is selected. For retrofits of equipment in existing vessels, we can analyse trials data and offer solutions to correct performance deficiencies.

SHAFTS are designed and manufactured in a range of alloys, depending on the strength and corrosion resistance required for a particular application. |
HYDROMET 680 is high grade duplex Stainless Steel specially developed for a combination of high strength and corrosion resistance. This alloy is frequently specified for use on high speed luxury yachts and patrol boats.
Shafts are precision ground and straightened to ensure smooth running operation, free of vibrations.
Our scope of supply also includes NOZZLES, STERNTUBES BEARINGS, SEALS, SHAFT STRUTS, RUDDERS AND STEERING GEAR.. |
